Member representing Numan, Demsa and Lamurde federal constituency, Hon. Kwamoti B La’ori, has distributed food items and cash to the two religious bodies in the three local government areas that made up his constituency.
The lawmaker who distributed the items at his campaign office in Numan on Friday, said, the gift is meant to assist the people of the constituency during the Christmas and new year festivities.
He therefore called on the two religious bodies in the local government to support him so as to enjoy more democracy dividends.
Responding, Muslim council chairman of Numan, Shehu Baba and CAN chairman of the local government, Pastor Steven Babbadu, thanked the lawmaker for the gesture.
They also promised to accord the lawmaker all the needed support so as to continue with the good work he is doing in the area.
