The pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Malam Nuhu Ribadu has extended condolence message to the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Eng David Lawal Babachir over the death of his mother, Madam Ama Rhoda Kunamtadaya David Lawal.
Madam Ama Rhoda died on January 18, 2022 at the age of 88.
Ribadu who personally attended the funeral rites of the deceased prayed God to rest her soul in the Bossom of the lord.
He hailed mama for doing her best to raise responsible children that have contributed to national development significantly, noting that the pride of a parent is to nurture good successors that will etch the name of the family in gold.
“Mama has done her best by training her children to be responsible members of the country. The nation and humanity have no doubt savoured the benefits of her labour through the immense contributions of her children.
“Despite the deep pain of her demise, we are consoled by the fact that Mama, a disciplinarian, a true Amazon, a community leader and the quintessence of nobility has given her contributions to our nation in no small feats.
“May her gentle soul continue to rest in the Bossom of the lord,” Ribadu prayed.
