~ Promises to employ three ad-hoc teachers
In his quest to bridge infrastructure gap in education across rural communities of Numan/Demsa/Lamurde Federal Constituency, Hon. Kwamoti Laori the federal lawmaker representing the area has constructed a block of 3 classrooms in Ngodogoron, Ngbakowo Ward of Lamurde LGA.
The project is in fulfilment of a campaign promise made to the people in 2019.
In a colorful ceremony, witnessed by well wishers, political associates and friends, the lawmaker presented books and writing materials to the school.
Responding to the demand for Teachers made by community leaders in their remarks, the lawmaker supported by Gyawana State Development Area Administrator promised to recruit 3 Teachers on ad-hoc basis, on a monthly stipends of N25,000 each as allowance.
Present at the event were the Deputy Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Pwamwakaino Makondo, Hon. Commissioner of Youth Entrepreneurship, Hon. James Iliya, Hon. Commissioner for Tertiary Education Dr. Dishi Khobe, Gyawana State Development Area Administrator Hon. Bulus Daniel, Retired Perm Sec. Menas Ngagurah, Former Executive Chairmen and Heads of Service of Numan, Demsa and Lamurde LGAs and Lamurde LGA PDP exco and Ward representatives.
The Hama Bachama was represented at the event by Kpana Rigangun, Chief Linus Anonoma alongside the Kwakombe Ngbakowo and 5 other village heads from surrounding communities.
A mammoth crowd was at hand at every transit community to welcome the Reps member on his way to Ngodogoron with dances and jubilation similar to receiving a new bride.
Women and youth all abandoned their farms to show love to Laori and to thank him for coming to their aid.
In many instances, the lawmaker had to stop over to briefly chat with the his receptive supporters.
