Former governor Bala James Nggilari has pulled out from the senatorial race few hours to the conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries.
In a letter seen by our reporter, the APC chieftain said he withdrew from the race based on personal reasons but maintained his loyalty and commitment to the progress of the party remained sacrosanct.
Nggilari who aspired to represent Adamawa north senatorial zone was the second aspirant from the zone to withdraw from the race.
It may be recalled that former governor Boni Haruna, who also aspired to represent the zone at the Senate on the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), also withdrew from the race few days to the PDP primaries.
