A youth organization under the aegis of El-Dabi support group, has vowed to mobilize millions of votes for the success of the Tinubu/Shettima joint ticket come 2023.
The group which is supported by Ibrahim Bello Dauda (El-Dabi) a presidential aspirant under the banner of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), noted that it is solely committed to the victory of the Tinubu/Shettima ticket come 2023 general election.
Rising from a critical stakeholders meeting in Yola, the convener of the group who is also the leader of El-Dabi support group in the 19 northern states, Sulaiman Yerima said they have put modalities in place to start rigorous campaign for the Tinubu/Shettima joint ticket across the country and northern Nigeria in particular.
The high powered meeting which took place in Yola on Wednesday was attended by many stakeholders including Mohammed Lawan Hassan, Taraba State Coordinator, Zanerat Ishaq Duguri, Bauchi State Coordinator, and Hajia Maimuna, Borno State Coordinator among many others.
Yerima said during the meeting they discussed on a number of strategies to ensure garnering not less than 5 million votes across the length and breadth of the north.
“Being a core APC patriot, Dr. Ibrahim Bello Dauda El-Dabi has given us the moral and financial support to ensure that the Tinubu/Shettima joint ticket emerged victorious come 2023.
“In this meeting which is our maiden meeting, we have enumerated a number of strategies to ensure that we mobilized not fewer than 5 million votes for the APC ticket across the length and breadth of the north.
“But since INEC did not give candidates the go ahead to start campaign, we will leave the strategies close to our chest. But I will assure you we have robust grassroot structures in place to ensure the victory of Tinubu/Shettima ticket come 2023,” he said.
