Int’l youth day: Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa charges youth on entrepreneurship

~ Urges them to shun political thuggery, commends their resilience

Foremost businessman and philanthropist, Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa has commended Nigerian youths over their resilience in the face of daunting challenges and urged them to embrace entrepreneurship for a better tomorrow.

The businessman made the remark shortly after he was decorated as the humanitarian of the year conferred on him by the Arewa Young Women graduates initiative.

Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa who was represented by the Chairman, Emnamu Foundation, Yola, Mr. John Nyandaiti charged the youth to live up to their roles as nation builders.

He said, the future of the country lies in the hands of the youths, adding that, “it is our collective duty to ensure that we build Nigeria of our dreams.”

The philanthropist particularly charged the youth to consider entrepreneurship as the only viable options to white collar jobs as they have become elusive and only exist in the realm of imagination.

He warned the youth to shun violence and political thuggery, especially as the 2023 election year draws closer.

“You should not be used as tools of political thuggery. Most of these desperate politicians who use you have their children abroad, while you are here taking up arms against one another. Eschew political thuggery, never for once has a winner ever been produced, it is simply a game of no champion,” he said.

Also speaking, Adamawa State commissioner for youth and sports, Hon. Aloysius Babadoke enjoined the youth to shun social vices such as political thuggery, drugs and substance abuse, cultism and other sundry vices.

He lauded the convener of the programme and promised to continue to support the laudable initiative.
