The pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria, Malam Nuhu Ribadu has expressed deep shock over the death of Hong local government APC chairman, Hon Bako Waliya.
Ribadu said the death of the politician came at a time his services to the fatherland and particularly to APC is greatly needed.
He described Waliya as a patriotic party man who will be missed sorely because of his commitment and dedication to party affairs as well as the general good of the people.
“We have lost a true patriot, a gentleman par excellence and a team player Hon. Bako Waliya. I wish to extend my condolences to his family and our great party for this huge lost. May his soul rest in peace,” Ribadu said.
