The Adamawa state commissioner of police CP SK Akande has been identified and honoured by the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Yola branch at its Dinner and Award Night ceremony held at Banquet Hall, Government House, Yola, Adamawa state On the 20th January, 2023, for his efforts in keeping the hope of Adamawa people alive and to encourage Police Officers of the command who work restlessly day and night to promote the peace and unity amongst diverse peoples of the state.
The Chairman of the NBA, Barrister Hassan Maidawa, Esq, while welcoming and appreciating the Lawyer friendly commissioner of Police, CP SK Akande, at the Dinner and award night ceremony of the NBA Law week, applauded the Police and other sister security Agencies, for their zeal to sustaining the oneness and peaceful coexistence between the Legal practitioners and Law enforcement agents in the state.
The Lawyer friendly CP, who received the award with happiness, commended the NBA for maintaining its core values and principles of bequeathing to the rule of Law and a sense of belonging that are fundamental to our togetherness.
CP further reassured the Government and good people of Adamawa state of a safer society that will constantly promote peace, tranquility, and peaceful coexistence in the state.
