The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Adamawa State council has extended felicitations to the Muslim Ummah for witnessing yet another Eid-el-fitri sallah celebration praying Allah to accept all their acts of worship during the holy month.
The council also admonished the Muslim Ummah and the entire citizens to use the lessons of sacrifice, love and peace learned during Ramadan period for a peaceful co-existance as well as smooth transition to the next administration.
In a sallah message signed by the Chairman, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan and secretary Fidelis Jockthan, NUJ congratulates Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Hon Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, and Lawmakers, Hon chief Judge of Adamawa State, members of the Adamawa State Executive Council, His Royal Highness, Lamido of Adamawa, Alhaji Dr. MUhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, and the entire revered Council of Traditional Rulers, Chairmen and Heads of Departments, Boards, Parastatals and other government Agencies, Chairmen local government Councils and indeed good people of Adamawa State a happy Eid-el-ftr sallah celebration.
The union most especially, felicitates with it’s great members in the state on these auspicious occasion.
“As the nation will soon witness transition to a new Government, the NUJ Adamawa State council implored all elected leaders to draw pragmatic policies that would foster unity and re-invigorate government institutions for a productive nation that, will have Direct Bearing on the lives of the People.
Citizens should equally use this auspicious 0ccassion to fervently pray for our leaders at all levels,” the statement said.
