Adamawa business man, Barr Danladi hails Tinubu over Ribadu’s appointment as NSA

~ Says Ribadu is Nigeria’s Condoleezza Rice

A renowned business man and politician in Adamawa State, Barr Danladi Danasabe has described the appointment of pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as National Security Adviser (NSA) as one of the finest appointments by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu led federal government.

Danasabe said the debilitating social insecurity ravaging Nigeria can only be resolved by a disciplined, courageous and incorruptible Nigerian with the passion and desire to leave an enduring legacy for posterity.

The business man who drew parallels between the former NSA of USA Condoleezza Rice and Ribadu noted that despite not coming from the military establishment, Condoleezza Rice was one of the best NSA’s in US history because she has the discipline, commitment, values, integrity and above all the educational profundity to excell where even the military personnel have failed.

He noted that president Tinubu and Ribadu’s relationship is solidified by their love for a better Nigeria and such informed why the relationship endured for decades.

“Because of the trust and confidence that Tinubu has for Ribadu, in 2011 he availed him with the opportunity to contest the presidential election on the banner of ACN. That confidence he has for Ribadu is still alive culminating in his appointment as the NSA recently.

“It is my fervent belief that Tinubu and Ribadu will form a formidable team that will address the ugly fissures of Nigeria,” he said.

Danasabe who urged Nigerians to endure in the face of the difficulties being faced as a result of the courageous reforms of the incumbent administration noted that the failure of past administrations to take such drastic measures is responsible for our current drift as a nation.

“This is a time for sober reflection and deep introspection. This is a time of utmost national sacrifice which calls for the understanding and commitment of all Nigerians to the survival of our dear nation.

“It is a time which calls for immense sacrifice for the survival of our country. Nigeria is currently in intensive care unit and in a comatose state. Reviving it needs our collective understanding and sacrifice. This sacrifice will come with an excruciating pain in the interim, but the resultant effect will be healthy for all Nigerians,” he added.

He noted that going by the appointments of new service chiefs by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, one can hazard a guess that Ribadu, like his principal has also hit the ground running.

“Less than a week after the announcement of Ribadu as the special adviser to the president on national security, we have seen appointments of new service chiefs. One can hazard a guess that Ribadu, like his principal has also hit the ground running.

“Going by the excellent record of the new appointees, we can say they are square pegs in square holes who will in no distant time make the needed difference in the life of this nation. Nigeria is surely on the path of self rebirth,” Danasabe said.
