He noted that the departure from the core principles and values that shaped the party compelled him to take the difficult step of resigning from his position in the National Working Committee (NWC).

He noted that the focal point of his protest revolves around the recent anointment of ex-Governor Abdullahi Ganduje to replace Senator Abdullahi Adamu, who previously served as the National Chairman of the APC.
