Fintiri rolls out achievements in 100 days @ dinner with journalists
Adamawa State Government has concluded plans to build a stadium in the state capital, Yola, to boost sports activities. The government also said it would construct a storm drainage facility in Saminaka, a suburb of Yola, to curtail perennial flooding in the area.

Dr Edgar Amos, the Chief of Staff to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, outlined the plans during a dinner for media practitioners Saturday night, stressing that Fintiri would be executing those projects and more as he consolidates on his achievements in office.

Edgar said, the dinner which is part of the official marking of Fintiri’s first 100 days of second term as governor noted that, the state executive council has already approved the construction of a third flyover at Mubi roundabout in Jimeta, as well as a superhighway from FGGC to Barracks Road Junction.
Earlier in his welcome remark, Governor Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Humwashi Wonosikou said the dinner was organised to appreciate journalists for how they have been covering the government.
In his address, Mr Zare Baba who is the Vice President of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in charge of Northeast thanked the government for hosting journalists to the dinner.
He enjoined Governor Fintiri to sign the media bill before him, and to revive the media houses owned by the state government.
