Missing Adamawa APC member Hon. Isa Ahmed found dead

The corpse of a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Hon. Isa Ahmed has been found.

The social media space was awash with the reported missing of Ahmed on Saturday.

Speaking to our reporter on phone, the Public Relations Officer of Adamawa State police command, SP Sulaiman Nguroje said the police have found the body and took it to specialist hospital where he was declared dead.

“The corpse has been deposited at the hospital morgue but investigation into the cause of the death is underway,” he said.

According to social media reports, the corpse was found at a popular hotel in Jimeta.

“He was reported missing in the afternoon of Saturday by family, friends and allies on the Social Media after he didn’t return to his house since Friday evening, which is unusual of him.

“The hotel’s report indicated that he had checked into the room and didn’t come out at the time he was supposed to check out. After waiting for a while, they decided to check on him to know whether he was going to extend his stay.

“They tried to talk to him and he wasn’t responding. They then suspected that something may be wrong and called the police,” the social media report indicated.
