Minister of education donates palliatives to state, LG, ward exco of Adamawa APC
In another significant move to bring succor and relief to All Progressives Congress (APC) faithfuls in Adamawa State, the minister of education, Prof. Mamman Tahir has distributed relief package to no fewer than 819 officials of the party at the state, local government and ward levels.
The latest donation is the second time the minister extended such gesture in less than a fortnight. Items distributed include; rice and vegetable oil.
The minister distributed a bag of rice and vegetable oil to each of the 27 party officials across the 21 local governments of the state.
He also distributed bag of rice and vegetable oil to each party chairman across the 226 wards of the state.
It may be recalled that in the build up to the christmas festivity, the minister has extended similar gesture to members of the party in all the 16 wards of Michika local government as well as hundreds others across the state.
While acknowledging the latest gesture, Adamawa State chairman of the party, Barr Idris Shuaibu said words could not express his happiness over the renewed gesture.
“Words can not really convey my message of joy and happiness over the latest gesture extended to the APC family in Adamawa State.
“Latest happenings in our great party is an indication that a new era has birthed. This new trend and development is unprecedented as it was obverse to what obtains before where appointees maintain lip service to the yearnings of party men. It is also a happy reminder that the new leadership of the party in the state is responsive, considerate, sympathetic, ebullient and down-to-earth. We are marking a new era of bliss and happiness which indicates that we are heading towards the utopian land.
“We will remain externally grateful to our amiable minister of education, Prof. Mamman Tahir for his exemplary leadership style.
“On our part, we promised to reciprocate this laudable gesture through our commitment, unflinching loyalty and dedication to our great party so that it will continue to wax from strength to strength,” Shuaibu added.
