Prof. Gwarzo congratulates Human Rights Activist, Omoyele Sowore on 53rd Birthday

The President, MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has congratulated a
Nigerian human rights activist and writer, Omoyele Sowore on his 53rd birthday.

The congratulatory message is contained in a statement personally signed by Prof. Gwarzo, a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Kano on Sunday.

He said the popular pro-democracy campaigner cum writer, deserves to be celebrated at this auspicious occasion for his contribution to the development of journalism profession in Nigeria.

“On behalf of myself and the MAAUN Group of Universities, I wish to felicitate with Omoyele Sowore, a pro-democracy campaigner on this significant milestone.

“I pray to almighty Allah to grant him many more years with good health to enable him continue with the struggle for advocating good governance in our country,” Prof. Gwarzo said.

While hailing the former presidential candidate of African Action Congress for his doggedness, Prof. Gwarzo prayed that Allah will grant him a long life to enable him witness the change he desires to see in Nigeria.
