Prof. Gwarzo mourns Proprietor of Hotel National Maradi, Katasse
The President MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has expressed deep shock over the sudden death of proprietor of Hotel National Maradi-Niger, Ibrahim Garba popularly known as Katasse.
Aged 64, Mr. Katasse died on Friday in Maradi-Niger following a brief illness.

In a condolence message he personally signed and distributed to newsmen in Kano- Nigeria on Saturday, Prof. Gwarzo expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased as well as the management and staff of the hotel.
Prof. Gwarzo said the death of Katasse was a great loss to both his family and Hotel National Maradi.
“MAAUN Niger has really lost a friend. We shall continue to remember the owner of Hotel National Maradi, Ibrahim Garba aka Katasse for his humility and gentleness, ” Prof. Gwarzo said.
According to him, Katasse will continue to be remembered by staff and students of MAAUN Maradi for his immense contribution in providing accommodation and catering services in the town.
“On behalf of MAAUN Maradi, I wish to extend our condolences to the family of the deceased, management and staff of Hotel National over the great loss.
He prayed to Allah to forgive the deceased and comfort his family especially during this period of grief.
