NEDC sympathizes with Gwoza people over suicide bombings
The North East Development Commission (NCDC) has assured victims of the suicide bomb blast, receiving treatment in Gwoza and Maiduguri will be reached out with the necessary assistance to ensure their wellbeing is catered for in earnest.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NCDC Mohammed Alkali, disclosed this during the visit to the victims at General Hospital in Maiduguri.

Alkali expressed sadness over the incident and promised to provide immediate support to the injured and prayed God Almighty to grant them speedy recovery.
He equally promised that the Commission will continue to provide succor to insurgency affected communities in the Region and will collaborate with the Federal and State governments toward actualizing its mandate of rebuilding the Northeast.
His team then offered condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the ugly incident, they were received by Medical Director State Specialist Hospital, Maiduguri, Doctor Babashehu Muhammad.
Since its inception, the commission has contributed a lot in improving the health sector through the provision of hospital facilities, equipment and consumables as well as developmental medical facilities and support services across the North East Region.
