Ribadu extolls education minister over dialogue with Adamawa citizens
The organizing secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu has extolled the minister of education for providing guidance and leadership at a very critical time in Nigeria’s democratic journey.
The minister has on Sunday engaged Adamawa citizens including student unions, youth groups, market women, people living with disability, political and religious leaders in a parley were very crucial issues were addressed in order to avert an impending anarchy in the state if the protests are allowed to take place.

Commenting over the development, Ribadu acknowledged the foresight and wisdom which propelled the minister to conduct such meeting which is the first of it’s kind to be held by a serving minister in the history of the state.
He expressed optimism that the engagement will bear fruits going by the positive feedback from the people adding that the meeting has doused a lot of tension and anxiety in the state occasioned by the visionary intervention.
Ribadu noted that the gesture of the minister distributing fertilizers and rice across the state will also bring succor to the people urging him to maintain the tempo.
He charged the citizens to borrow a leaf from the minister by boycotting the planned protests as it has the tendency to snowball into a huge conflagration that will hurt the economy and lead to destruction of businesses, infrastructure and social amenities in the state.
Ribadu then called on the residents to give the federal government another chance to put the economy on the path of recovery.
