2025 Eid-el-Fitr in Yola the best in decades – Calculate
A frontline politician in Adamawa State, Umar Bello Jada also known as Calculate has disclosed that the 2025 Eid-el-Fitr celebration in Yola is the best in many decades noting that its organization, aesthetics and mass attendance were superb.
During an interview with newsmen at the Modibbo Adama palace in continuation of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration featuring display of deep cultural heritage and colorful horse parades, Calculate noted that this year’s sallah festivity was out of this world.
“Without mincing words, I want to say that this year’s Sallah festivity led by our amiable former vice president, Atiku Abubakar is the best in many decades.
“It is unique and superb in every sense of the world; organization, massive attendance and colorful display of horse parades. No wonder the attendance is premised by the desire of our people to make bold statements about where they belong as far as history and heritage are concerned.
“That is why people defy the odds including inclement whether, extortionate cost of logistics and every other constraint to be here. I’m happy to observe today that Yola is filled to the brim as people from Gurin, Fufore, Ribadu and Daware and other far flung places deemed it necessary to make a strong and bold language in order to assert their loyalty to the Fombina emirate.
“This has gone a long way to show that any action contrary to wishes of the people is dead on arrival. A power drunk leader can create artificial boundaries and fake institutions but cannot force the people to recognize them. Today the people have shown where they rightly belong to in the emirate and chiefdoms equation,” he said.
