Dr Dahiru Ribadu, Yunusa Dahiru emerge chair MAC, deputy CMAC MAUTH Yola
Chief Medical Director, Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, MAUTH Yola, Adamawa state, Prof Adamu Bakari Girei has approved the appointments of Dr. Dahiru Yusufu Ribadu as Acting Chairman Medical Advisory Committee, CMAC and Dr. Yunusa Dahiru as Deputy CMAC Education & Training.
The appointment followed the expiration of tenure of Dr Ahmadu Baba Usman as the CMAC.

Dr Ahmadu was the seal of Head of Clinical Service, HCS, with the upgrade of the institution from federal medical centre to a teaching hospital, making him the pioneer CMAC who also served as pioneer Acting Chief Medical Director of the hospital.
Dahiru Yusufu Ribadu was also the seal of Deputy HCS and pioneer DCMAC Education and Training; a position that is now occupied by Dr. Yunusa Dahiru, Consultant Radiologist, Head of Radiology Department and chairman Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Adamawa state among other tasking tasks.
An internal memo, issued by the Director Admission, Sanusi Ahmed Rufai, revealed that the appointments take effect from 29th March, 2025.

APPOINTMENTS OF ACTING CHAIRMAN MEDICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CMAC) AND DEPUTY CMAC’S
This is to inform all Members of staff that the Chief Medical Director has approved the appointments of Dr. Dahiru Yusufu Ribadu as Acting Chairman MAC, and Dr. Yunusa Dahiru as Deputy CMAC Education & Training.
Similarly, the Chief Medical Director approved for the renewal of appointments of Dr. Maisaratu A. Bakari as DCMAC Clinical and Dr. Solomon Bulus Gideon as DCMAC Ethics and Research for a second and final term of two (2) years
The appointments take effect from 29th March, 2025.
All Heads of Departments/Units, including members of staff are requested to give them maximum support and cooperation to enable them discharge their functions effectively.
