Group lauds NSA over success in routing insecurity

Mr. Philip Samaniya, the chairman of a coalition of political pressure groups advocating for President Tinubu’s return in 2027, has commended Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser to President Ahmed Tinubu, for the significant progress made in tackling the country’s security challenges.
Mr. Samaniya expressed these sentiments during the coalition’s first annual general meeting of the group in Yola. He thanked President Tinubu for appointing Mallam Ribadu as his security adviser, emphasising that Ribadu is the right person to address Nigeria’s security issues.

Mr. Samaniya pointed out the substantial improvements Ribadu has implemented in response to these challenges and encouraged him to continue his efforts.
Additionally, Mr. Samaniya expressed gratitude to Ribadu for his ongoing support of the coalition, pledging to rally behind him and the Tinubu-led administration to secure more benefits for the populace.
In discussing the purpose of the first annual meeting following the formation and inauguration of local government coordinators, Mr. Samaniya noted that the goal was to bring together the state council and local government coordinators to discuss plans and the successes achieved thus far.
He encouraged the local government coordinators to return to their respective areas to establish ward leaders, stressing that the coalition aims to unite people regardless of their political or religious affiliations and support the Tinubu administration.
Samaniya also acknowledged the efforts of specific local government coordinators, particularly those from Shelleng, Guyuk, Mubi North, and Mubi South, commending them for their dedication to the growth and development of the political pressure group and encouraging them to maintain their commitment.
Dr. Pwadadi Bello, the coalition’s director of research, stated that the pressure group aims to effect change in leadership and politics in Nigeria, enabling young people in particular to contribute to the political landscape.
Various speakers, including Hadiza Sale Suleiman, the coalition’s woman leader; Mr. Ishaya Ganinan, the Algon of the local government coordinators from Song; Mohammed Bello, representing the Muslim Council; and Pastor Zakariya, a representative from the Christian community, all reiterated their commitment to fostering peace and unity among coalition members. They also noted that they have been conducting enlightenment meetings within their local governments to emphasise the importance of the coalition.
