Adamawa police command decries assault on officer, launches inquest
The Adamawa State Police Command has condemned in strong terms a viral video showing a police officer wearing a camouflage T-shirt being assaulted and dragged by an individual.
According to the image maker of the command SP Sulaiman Nguroje, the video, which was first posted on Tiktok account *@dadiskid_backup*, has since generated widespread public reactions.

The Command describes the act as unacceptable, emphasizing that such behavior against law enforcement officers will not be tolerated. An investigation has since been commenced into the incident for appropriate legal action.
