168 laws of loyalty: Prof. Tame to launch book Saturday in Yola
A distinguished academic and leadership mentor, Professor Vadlya T. Tame of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, has announced the official public presentation and launch of his latest book titled “The 168 Laws of Loyalty”, scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Yola, Adamawa State.
Addressing journalists during a press conference ahead of the launch, Prof. Tame described the book as the culmination of years of observation, leadership experience, and personal reflection on the principles that sustain trust, integrity, and effective leadership in societies.

“This book is more than a publication. It is the result of years of observation, leadership experience, and personal reflection on what truly sustains trust, leadership, relationship, and national development,” he said.
According to him, “The 168 Laws of Loyalty” delves into the moral and institutional essence of loyalty as a value that binds individuals, families, institutions, and nations together, especially in a world where betrayal and disloyalty have become normalized.
He explained that each of the 168 laws in the book offers practical insights into how loyalty operates not as “a blind allegiance” but as “a conscious commitment to truth, purpose, and people.”
“Loyalty is a discipline that strengthens leaders, sustains organizations, and stabilizes communities,” he said, adding that the book challenges readers to rethink loyalty as the foundation of leadership and nation-building.
Prof. Tame revealed that the book has received wide acclaim from leaders across sectors, including a notable endorsement from His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Executive Governor of Taraba State.
Quoting from Governor Kefas’ endorsement, Prof. Tame said: “In my 21 years of active military service, I learned that loyalty and discipline are inseparable. Loyalty without discipline loses its strength, and discipline without loyalty becomes mechanical. Together, they form the backdrop of trust, courage, and enduring leadership.”
The professor emphasized that the message of the book cuts across various spheres of influence, political, academic, spiritual, and social and is particularly relevant for young people preparing to serve future generations.
“This work is written for leaders in every sphere of life and for young people who want to transform their environment, their constituency, their nation, and the continent at large,” he noted.
He added that the forthcoming launch would not only unveil a book but would serve as a celebration of values, leadership, and renewal of moral consciousness among leaders and citizens alike.
“Tomorrow’s launch will not just be an event. It will be a celebration of values, a celebration of leadership, and a renewal of mandates. We expect friends, colleagues, government representatives, traditional and faith leaders, and citizens who believe in the rebirth of character-based leadership,” he added.
Prof. Tame appreciated members of the Book Launch Committee, the media, and all supporters who contributed to bring the vision of the book to life.
He extended an open invitation to members of the public, calling on “lovers of truth, loyalty, and leadership” to join in what he described as the beginning of a movement for faithful hearts and trustworthy leaders.
