Sadiq’s Sponsored Soap Opera: When Truth Trumps Tantrums

My attention has been drawn to a desperate and poorly-crafted write-up akin to a soap opera circulating under the fictitious name Ahmed Ahmed Daware, attempting to malign my person simply because I spoke the truth about the ongoing issues within Adamawa ADC.
Ordinarily, I do not respond to political jobbers and unwieldy cannon fodders but for clarity and for the sake of setting the record straight, I deemed it compelling to deconstruct the mosaic of lies therein with a counter narrative.
When facts are spoken, the guilty tremble
My statement on the attempted distortion of ADC structures was not personal; it was a defence of truth, due process, and respect for the collective efforts of party men and women. If that truth unsettled certain individuals, then it only confirms the validity of my concerns.
Political discourse is not strengthened by insults
Resorting to name-calling and distorting facts and history does not strengthen the ADC; it only exposes Dasin’s infantile mindset and insecurity.
It must be restated that Leadership is built on ideas, not attacking those who ask genuine questions.
Loyalty is proven through actions, not slogans.
I have always supported any initiative that unites the party and aligns with the broader objective of strengthening the Atiku movement in Adamawa.
The vile attempt to tag me as “anti-Atiku” is not only false but laughable. My contributions to the movement are open, verifiable, and known to those who matter.
No one individual owns the ADC.
The Transition Committee issue raised was never about personalities, it was about ensuring fairness, transparency, and adherence to party guidelines. Reducing it to character assassination is an unfortunate diversion which only exposed Dasin’s narrow world view and an infantile mindset to see every criticism no matter how constructive as a show of belligerence.
Hon. Dasin is not under attack, but his actions can be questioned.
Criticism of decisions is not an attack on anyone’s person. If the party cannot ask questions, then democracy becomes meaningless.
The Atiku movement is built on unity not blind loyalty. Those who are shouting “distraction” are the true architects of disunity. Strong parties grow when leaders welcome constructive criticism, not when they silence it with propaganda.
Let the people judge.
Adamawa people know my contributions, my stand, and my commitment. They also know those who hide behind sponsored write-ups to defend actions that cannot stand the test of time.
To this end, I remain committed to a stronger, more transparent, and more united ADC, a party that reflects the vision of Atiku Abubakar and the hopes of Adamawa people and Nigeria at large.
No amount of smear campaigns will derail that commitment.
