Former Adamawa emirate information officer, Muawiya Abba Zumo is dead
Former Adamawa emirate information officer and immediate past Chief Orientation and Mobilization Officer (COMO) of National Orientation Agency in Yola South, Muawiya Abba Zumo is dead.
Available information stated that Zumo, a respected community leader and astute mobilizer died at 62.

Family sources told our correspondent that Zumo died near Keffi while on his way to Abuja on Friday.
A fellow traveller told this paper that Zumo who was hale and hearty collapsed shortly after a stopover to answer the call of nature.
”We had a stopover and some of our co-travellers went to the bushes to ease off but he suddenly collapsed.
”We took his body to Wuse hospital where he was confirmed dead,” our source disclosed.
The source said prayers will be offered to the deceased by 1:00pm at the national mosque after which his body will be interned in the FCT.
