Emulating Emmanuel: Beneficiaries of Adamawa ace philanthropist, Musa donate musical instruments to federal fire service
In an unprecedented gesture archetypal to expanding the circle of benevolence, beneficiaries of the humanitarian programmes of Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa, a prominent Adamawa-based philanthropist and President of the Emnamu Foundation, have donated a complete set of musical instruments to the Adamawa State Command of the Federal Fire Service.
The donation, presented at the command headquarters, was carried out under an initiative entitled “Emulating Dr. Emmanuel N. Musa,” a gesture the beneficiaries said was inspired by the culture of compassion, gratitude and community service consistently championed by the philanthropist.

Officials of the Federal Fire Service described the donation as both symbolic and impactful, noting that it reflects the growing influence of Dr. Musa’s humanitarian philosophy in encouraging young people and beneficiaries of charitable programmes to give back to society.
Speaking during the presentation, the Adamawa State Comptroller of the Federal Fire Service, who was represented by DSF Habila, said the command was pleasantly surprised by the gesture.
He described the donation as a demonstration of goodwill and a testament to the humanitarian values promoted by Dr. Musa through the Emnamu Foundation.
According to him, the musical instruments will serve the command for ceremonial events, parades and other official engagements for many years.
“This is indeed a thoughtful gesture and a clear reflection of the spirit of gratitude that Dr. Emmanuel Musa continues to inspire in people. We commend the beneficiaries for remembering the command and for contributing something that will be useful to the institution for a long time,” he said.
The comptroller further recommended the donors for recognition, describing the contribution as a lasting gift to the Adamawa State Command of the Federal Fire Service.
Presenting the instruments on behalf of Dr. Musa, the Chief of Staff and National Coordinator of the Emnamu Foundation, Comrade Chakukuyada Godwin Kala’a, praised the beneficiaries for demonstrating the values of responsibility and appreciation.
He noted that the initiative reflects the philosophy of Dr. Musa, whose humanitarian interventions have touched many lives across Adamawa State and beyond.
In recent years, the philanthropist has expanded his humanitarian footprint through various initiatives, including educational support programmes, healthcare outreach, youth empowerment schemes, and direct assistance to vulnerable communities.
Kala’a explained that the foundation’s approach is not only to provide assistance but also to encourage beneficiaries to become agents of positive change within their communities.
“Dr. Emmanuel Musa believes that humanitarian service should inspire others to also give back. What we are witnessing here today is a reflection of that vision,” he said.
He also urged members of the public to support government institutions and community development efforts, stressing that sustainable progress requires collective responsibility.
