Adamawa APC scribe, Ribadu extolls Salihu over huge cash donation to party faithfuls
The Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu, has commended the North East National Vice Chairman of the party, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, for extending financial support to party members through an empowerment initiative aimed at fostering self-reliance and economic dependence.
In a move described by many as strategic approach to alleviate poverty and enhance economic prosperity in the party, Comrade Salihu today donated the sum of ₦1,000,000 as seed capital to seven selected beneficiaries across seven local government areas of Adamawa State.

The beneficiaries include Khaleel Sajoh (Yola South), Anas Bala (Yola North), Hingino Bedan (Girei), Magdalene David (Michika), Faisal Mohammed Usman (Fufore), and Isa Garba (Mayo Belwa).
In addition, he further extended ₦500,000 in financial support to six individuals from his immediate constituency in Rumde Ward, Jimeta.
Those who benefited from this gesture are Safiyanu Adamu, Ibrahim Haruna, Umar Lawan, Ishiyaku Aliyu, Aisha Mohammed, and Abdullahi Ahmed.
Expressing profound appreciation on behalf of the party in the state, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu described Salihu’s benevolence as a demonstration of leadership by example.
He said the donation reflects the Vice Chairman’s unflinching commitment to uplift members of the APC at the grassroots so that they could embrace entrepreneurship.
“This kind of intervention is exactly what our party needs at this critical time. Comrade Mustapha Salihu has shown that leadership is not only about occupying positions but also about touching lives and supporting others to stand on their feet,” Ribadu stated.
He further called on other well-placed APC stakeholders and office holders in the state to emulate Salihu’s gesture by extending similar olive branch to party faithful, particularly at the ward and local government levels.
While cautioning the beneficiaries against squandering the funds on frivolous expenses, Ribadu urged them to invest wisely and ensure the money serves as a stepping stone toward sustainable livelihoods.
“This support should not be used to procure ephemeral luxuries but rather to create lasting sources of income that will in turn uplift their families and communities,” he advised.
Ribadu emphasized that initiatives such as this will not only reduce economic hardship among party members but also strengthen loyalty, unity, and cohesion within the APC in Adamawa State and beyond.
