‎The campaign council of frontline gubernatorial aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Abdulrazak Namdas has pledged to remain in the party and work assiduously for its success ahead of the 2027 general election.

‎A communique signed by the Chairman of the Campaign Council following Abdurrahman Shuaibu after exhaustive deliberations in Yola, said, the campaign council will maintain fidelity with the party with a commitment to work diligently for the unity, cohesion and success of the party in all elections in 2027.

‎The communiqué, stated that despite reservations over challenges that characterised the conduct of the governorship primary, members of the council had resolved to accept the outcome in the interest of party unity.

‎“The meeting noted that the purported election, which produced the APC governorship flag bearer in the State, was beset with challenges; nevertheless, it accepted the outcome,” the communiqué stated.

‎The council expressed appreciation to supporters of Namdas across Adamawa State for their steadfast loyalty and commitment throughout the campaign period, noting that the support enabled the aspirant to engage with party members and grassroots supporters across the state.

‎According to the communiqué, members of the campaign structure unanimously agreed to remain within the APC and work collectively towards ensuring the party’s victory in the 2027 elections.

‎As part of the resolutions reached at the meeting, the campaign organisation was renamed “Movement for a Better Adamawa,” with Namdas serving as chairman of the new support group.

‎The movement, according to the communiqué, would function as a support platform for the APC with a mandate to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well as other APC candidates in the 2027 polls.

‎The group also congratulated all aspirants who emerged victorious in the recently concluded APC primaries across Adamawa State and pledged to support the party’s broader electoral objectives.

‎The communiqué commended key party leaders and stakeholders for their efforts towards strengthening the APC in the state.

‎Among those acknowledged were Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and retired General Buba Marwa, who chairs the Adamawa APC Elders Council.
