Succour has finally come the way of communities in Kano State, with total rehabilitation of abandoned and dilapidated boreholes, and drilling of new real-time community water supply across the 44 local government across the state, to end the perennial search for water from streams.
The project, courtesy of His Excellency Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkareem Zaura popularly known as A. A. Zaura, is now the most talked in the commercial hub of Kano and other neighbouring states in the northern part of the country and beyond.
According to some of the community representatives in Kano State, who spoke while witnessing this humanitarian activity, the communities had for decades been trekking long distances to streams to access unsafe drinking water, “but we had no alternative. We are very happy today that this has changed, this is the first time our community is benefitting from such gesture. We thank God for using our own beloved son, Alhaji A. A. Zaura to give us close access to potable water. We assure him that we will treasure and protect it. This, of course is something we count as a real dividend of democracy.”
Most of them who expressed their respective opinions feel that they never thought a time like this will come in which they witness a time when even government can remember them and give them succour, talkless of a patriot, who has never been to the corridors of power before. They see Mr. Zaura as a potential personality any society can beit for any exalted position.
According to all community leaders, youths’ movement champions and women in all the 44 local government across Kano State, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkareem Zaura is just their answer towards solving their problems, the laud him and cherished him the more.
The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who sees this as a gigantic project worth emulation, commends Alhaji Zaura for complementing government’s efforts and charged his executives to copy from the good works of A. A. Zaura.
Mr. Zaura receives applause by both community and the pupils for his kind gesture when he visited some of the local government areas to inspect the project his foundation is handling.
It is most remarkable that the Kano APC got with the presence of Zaura who braces his presence with a difference. It is on this note that others feel that it’s no longer news for those who follow with passion the Zaura style in Kano State in all aspects of his journey. Coming into a party and bridging the gap by introducing unique way on interaction with decorum, more especially in identifying with all structures on ground is not an easy task.
This, according to analysts, can summaries reasons why some people run as frantic as a cockroach in a henhouse whenever the Kano APC bigwig, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkareem Zaura lands in his city – Kano. They are seen restless with ants in their pants, and at their sixes and sevens.
The teeming youths in the state vow not to rest on their oars until they achieved their desire of enthroning a Zaura candidature. The strategy he adopts is so calculative that even his opponents knew truly well that their ideas will never fly in as much as the master of the game is in the building! This, everyone in Kano today, discovered that one of the All Progressives Congress (APC) movers and shakers, Zaura, is the best man for the number one set of Kano State.
