The caretaker chairman of Jada local government area of Adamawa State, Alhaji Adamu Jikan Sarki has distributed herbicides to farmers across the eleven wards of the local government on Friday.
Sarki urged those charged with the responsibility of sharing the item to be fair and just to ensure the target beneficiaries get the commodity.
He charged ward councillors and other notable stakeholders charged with the distribution to ensure fair and equitable distribution of the commodity.
While thanking the chairman for the gesture, the leader Jada legislative council, thanked the chairman saying that it is inline with the need of the farmers,
“Hon. Jikan Sarki actually did well for the disbursement of not less that 100 herbicide across the 11 wards in the LGA, this is indeed one among the major things we need as farmers; as everyone knows, this is the long waited farming season, we appreciate you,” he said.
Other beneficiaries across the 11 wards also the joined leader in thanking the chairman for a well-done job.
