~ Pass vote of confidence on his representation

Bouyed by his excellent representation at the federal house of representatives, supporters of the member representing Numan, Demsa and Lamurde Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Kwamoti Laori have bought expression of interest and nomination forms for the lawmaker in order to prod him into the contest ahead of the 2023 general election.
The member who was taken by surprise when the supporters who paid him a courtesy call in his office presented him the forms, said he will redouble his effort to bring solid developmental strides to the constituency if reelected.
In his remarks, the group leader Mr Bitrus Bona described the member as a visionary and effective representative.
Bona said the group is not oblivious of the calls by other interest groups on the member to contest other elective positions noting that as a group, they decided to surprise him by purchasing the forms to express the confidence they reposed on him.
The group described the lawmaker’s performance as unprecedented and urged him to consolidate.
They maintained that there’s no vacancy in the position Laori is currently occupying.
Bona said the group is happy with the good feedback they are getting from the lawmaker which also informed their decision to pass a vote of confidence on him as a worthy and reliable ambassador.
In his response, the member who was visibly emotional expressed shock and joy for the uncommon love and sacrifice displayed by the group.
Kwamoti thanked members of the group for the gesture and vote of confidence bestowed on him and promised that as their messenger he would continue to report to them and would never take their support for granted.
He further stated “I am aware that when people commend your effort it is also a demand on you to do more, therefore with your continued support and guidance, I shall give my best to serve and represent you better.”
Being his friends and associates, the lawmaker urged them to continue to advise and advance constructive criticism that would make him perform better where there’s need for improvement.
He therefore pledged to abide by their decision, since he was left with no choice.
The member thanked all who were in attendance and prayed God for journey mercies.
Speakers on the occasion include Comrade Eliot Afiyo, Rt. Hon. Pwamwakaino Makondo, Nicholas Cornelius Rtd (mni) and Mr. Kamri Appolos.
