Adamawa State council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has extended heartfelt condolences on the publisher of The Periscope Global Publishers, Mr. Adamu Dodo over the death of his beloved wife, Halima A.A Duhu.
A statement by Fidelis Jocthtan, secretary of the council on Monday express deep sorrow and shock over the sad event saying that it is a loss to the entire Adamawa NUJ family.
“It is indeed a moment of grief not only to you and your family, but to State Chairman, members of the council and the entire practicing Journalists in Adamawa.
“The council shares the pains, thoughts and prayers with you our dear Comrade.
The Almighty Allah giveth and taketh at his own will and time.
May Almighty Allah forgives the shortcomings of Late Madam Halima A.A.Duhu May he comfort you and protect the children she left behind.
“The entire NUJ Secretariat is saddened Sir because you are one of our pillars that moulded many in the profession.
Kindly accept the deepest condolences of the state Chairman, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan, the council and entire Journalists in the state,” the statement said.
