The attention of Dr. Umar Musdafa Madawaki’s Gubernatorial Campaign Office has been drawn to the rumours being peddled that he has stepped down from the contest for one of the Candidates under the All Progressive Congress, APC, in the State.
It became quite imperative to state categorically that, the rumour is the pigments of imagination of political detractors and Mischief makers who are desperate to create confusion ahead of party primaries scheduled for this month.
The Otumba of Ekiti’s Gubernatorial Campaign Office however noted with grave concern that some faceless politicians who have lost hope in the forth coming Party Primaries could peddled unfounded and unsubstantiated rumour that he withdrew from the race so as to cause disaffection within the APC in the State.
Therefore, it is instructive to announce that, a Frontline Gubernatorial Aspirant under the platform of APC, Dr. Umar Musdafa Madawaki is still in the race and will sustain his Campaign activities to the Primaries of the party.
Consequently, all Party delegates and other stakeholders have been advised to disregard the purported rumour and fully support the Gubernatorial Candidature of Dr. Umar Musdafa Madawaki for the party to succeed.
Evidently, the Otunba of Ekiti’s Candidature is the only Midas touch for the party to ensure its victory during the general election.
