La’ori gets nod for the establishment of NILEST extension service center in Numan

The member representing Numan, Demsa and Lamurde federal Constituency in the house of representatives, Rt. Hon. Kwamoti B Laori has got approval for the establishment of Nigeria Institute for Leather Science Technology (NILES) Extension Service Center in Numan.

La’ori made the disclosure during the commissioning of a fully furnished block of 6 classrooms at government science technical college Numan.

He said the newly commissioned building would be used as temporary Site for takeoff of the institute.

He further hinted that the Center when fully functional would provide youth across Adamawa State and parts of Northeast the opportunity to be trained on leather goods manufacturing technology at a subsidized cost.

La’ori said the products such as footwear, seat covers, bags, belts and wallets of all kinds would be produced locally in Numan for export.

He appreciated all and sundry for their commitments and and unflinching support him.

The Hon. Member also donated customized writing materials to the students to encourage them to be more proactive to their studies.

While commissioning the building, the paramount ruler of Bachama kingdom, Dr. Daniel Shaga Ismaila decried the deteriorating level of infrastructure bedeviling the education sector in his domain.

The royal father appreciated Laori for his giant stride in revamping the educational sector in his constituency.

He noted that Laori’s concern for the education sector shows the kind of love he has for the future of the younger generation as education is the best legacy one can leave to his people.

The principal of the junior section of the government science technical college, Numan, Mr. Robinuso Deneail Zadok who represented the principal of the senior section Mrs. Rakiya Barau said that this kind gesture shouldn’t have come at a better time.

In his contribution the chairman of Numan elders forum extended his appreciation and gratitude Laori for the wonderful project pledging the people’s support to the lawmaker.
