A member of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, Hamza Mamman Bazza has endorsed the senatorial ambition of Dr. Abdullahi Belel ahead of the 2023 general election.
Dr. Abdullahi Belel is seeking to represent Adamawa north senatorial zone in the Senate come 2023 general election under the banner of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP).
In a no holds barred chat with newsmen, the PDP chieftain noted that if integrity, sound mind, educational profundity, depth, patriotic demeanor, large heartedness and mass followership are the ingredients that bring political victory, he is sure Belel will carry the day come 2023 as he posess these attributes in ample doses.
He noted that even though he never held any political office in the past, the track record of the medical doctor cum politician speaks eminently for him adding that Belel has over the years warmed his way into the souls of the people through unprecedented philanthropy, track record of service and excellence noting that Belel is the candidate to beat come 2023.
Bazza noted that Belel is a personality that does not carry any past political baggage and will be easily sold to the people of the zone noting that such antecedent entails his soaring and legendary popularity in the zone since he announced his ambition to contest for the seat.
He revealed that unlike the past, the era of sticking with political parties is over as the people prefer those with competence, integrity and track record to the inanity of loyalty for political party adding that such informed his decision to pitch tent with Belel instead of the candidate of his party the PDP.
He noted that with the renewed mindset and awareness of the electorates, he is sure Belel will emerge victorious as people will vote for him based on his antecedent not necessarily political leaning.
Bazza added that because of the reputation of Belel, the name of NNPP is also soaring by the day as the people believed that the party will chart a new course obverse to the sleazy one entrenched by PDP and APC noting that such informed the massive defection of PDP and APC members into NNPP in the area.
“ I’m in PDP but I can tell you that the future of our Senatorial zone is in NNPP, is with Dr. Belel, the masses have begun to chant the song of his victory in 2023 in all the local government areas.
” I will however want to call on the people of Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Michika, and Madagali local government areas that they should not waste their votes on anyone else if they want to see development under good representation.
“If it’s about good leadership I give it to Belel, that I see in him with no mincing words that he can deliver and serve our people better,” Hamza said.
