The Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has enjoined Senator Barau I. Jibrin on his recent National honour award by President Muhammadu Buhari to remain committed to bringing projects and life saving programs for the betterment of the people of Nigeria.
The group urged Senator Barau not to allow himself be distracted by agents of darkness to initiate anti- people’s programmes in his service to humanity.
Isah Abubakar, National President of NYCN, in a statement and made available to newsmen on Wednesday, said, “We admonished Barau to remain committed to bringing projects and life saving programs for the betterment of our people and shouldn’t be distracted by agents of darkness.”
The statement added, “The leadership of Northern Youth Council of Nigeria will as well like to seized this opportunity to celebrate and congratulate Senator Barau I. Jibrin for this recognition by our Nation as well to assure him that, the award reflects on his love for the liberation of our people and his life touching programs for his community.”
“We appreciate the effort of Mr President as well share in his high sense of humor to identify individuals and personalities of high reputable Nigerians who have excelled in their field of chosen carriers to bag the National Honor and his wisdom in identifying Senator Barau I. Jibrin has proven the President love for competence, capacity and committed servant of the people, Senator Barau laudable intervention programs have spoken for him,” the statement opined.
