Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has just assented to the Adamawa State child protection law 2022.
The secretary to the state government Eng Bashir Ahmed has recently at an event in Yola indicated that the child protection law is going to be assented by the governor soon.
Sources close to the government house Yola told our correspondent that the governor signed the law today noting that with the law in place, the welfare and other challenges facing children in the state will receive seriously attention.
