The Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) wishes to reassure our teeming members and supporters that the party is repositioning very well for the battle to save our dear state from the misrule of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
A statement jointly signed the chairman of the party Samaila Tadawus and the secretary of the party, Dr. Raymond Chidama said consultation with stakeholders and other party leaders is ongoing to ensure that APC does not only get into the election as a united force but to also come out successful at all levels.
“To this end, the party is immensely grateful to Her Excellency Hajiya (Dr) Aisha Muhammadu Buhari for agreeing to our request to meet with party leaders and all our candidates.
“The purpose of the meeting was to congratulate the First Lady over recent happenings in the polity and especially her appointment as the chairperson of the Tinubu/Shettima Women Campaign Team. It was also meant to serve as a platform to discuss how Her Excellency could support the vision of the State Exco of the party to take our candidates to victory.
“All candidates of the party were dully invited to the meeting and we are grateful that majority of the candidates, EXCO members and other senior stakeholders honoured the invitation.
“Her Excellency and other stakeholders who spoke at the meeting spoke along the line of unity and strategies for the success of the Party in the 2023 election in Adamawa State.
“After carefully listening to the requests made by the party and its candidates the first lady promised to support the Party to takeover Adamawa State from the PDP in the 2023 general election.
“The First Lady urged the APC family to remain united and continue to have absolute faith in the party that is poised to maintain the leadership at the centre and takeover our dear state,” the statement said.
