Honorable Member Representing Numan/Demsa/Lamurde a federal constituency Hon. Kwamoti B Laori (Kwormo Bachama), has called on the youths of the state and the nation at large to vote in the right person in the next general election comes 2023.
The Member made the call at Makwada square in Numan in an interview with Journalists, he was also conferred with a traditional title Of Kwormo Bachama in his community.
Hon La’ori said that “for now the electioneer period is around the corner and the only weapon that youths have at hand is the voter cards which he said that the power of the voter card is over emphasize.
He therefore charge those that are yet to collect theirs to go to the INCE center to have theirs.
Hon member has expressed delight and gratitude to the royal majesty Doctor Deniuel Ismail Shaga, for bestowing the title of Kwormo Bachama and he promise to give his support to all the Numan Federation and the chiefdom.
The honorable member thanked the general public who came from far and near to witness the occasion and assured that the 2023 election will be rancor free.
Earlier in his speech at the event Hama Bachama HRM Homun Dr Daniel Ismaila Shaga, said that the traditional titles were meant to cement relationship and maintain mutual trust, understanding and peaceful coexistence among family and friends of the Kingdom.
He added that the event which we as also meant to maintain sociocultural existence of Bwate people adding that it was an evenue to appreciate contributions of the people who support the chiefdom over the years.
The Royal father urged those in position of authority to use their offices wisely to support peace and development of the people as a mark of honor and trust for the good of the society.
He added that the traditional title conferred on the selected people was not the first nor the last and appealed to those whose names were proposed, but not included to be petion, saying that the chiefdom will reachout to many in the event ahead.
Among other personalities conferred with the Bachama Kingdom titles include Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as Gyana Bachama, Secretary to the federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha as Ngra Bachama, senator representing Adamawa South senatorial district Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe as Ngiko Bachama.
Other were Chairman of NDLEA General Muhammadu Bubu Marwa (Rtd) as Shero Bachama, VC Adamawa state University (ADSU) Prof Kaletapwa Farauta as Nji-Maaro Bachama, Among others.
