A stalwart of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Sen. Abubakar Girei has hailed president Muhammadu Buhari for agreeing to be part of the presidential and Gubernatorial campaign rally of the APC in Adamawa State which is billed to take place tomorrow in Yola.
In a statement he made available to this paper on Sunday, the politician said the coming of president Muhammadu Buhari to the state for the important campaign rally will boost the chances of APC in Adamawa State considering the popularity of president Muhammadu Buhari.
Girei expressed optimism of the victory of APC in all elections from top to bottom as he said Adamawa is a core APC state adding that the party will surely collect back its lost mandates come 2023 general elections.
He thanked the leadership of APC from the national to state levels for ensuring a renewed peace, synergy and understanding in the party adding that with the new spirit, APC will clinch all contested positions in the forthcoming polls.
Girei particularly assured the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of victory in the state despite having a strong contender from Adamawa State as the stakeholders of the party are working round the clock to ensure his comprehensive victory come February 25, 2023.
He also thanked the APC stakeholders and officials of the party in Adamawa State for their commitment towards the success of the party in the state calling on them to maintain the tempo so as to reclaim back the government house and all other contested positions.
