Guber, assembly polls: Atiku scores INEC low

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has described the conduct of the gubernatorial and state House of assembly elections as shoddy saying that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not learnt from its previous mistakes.

Atiku during an interview session with newsmen shortly after casting his vote at his Ajiya polling unit 012 in Yola said he has not seen any measure deployed by INEC to enhance the credibility of the electoral process.

Recall that Atiku who came the first runner up of the presidential election conducted on 25th February, 2023 by INEC has unequivocally condemned the electoral process saying that it was highly flawed and lost all iota of credibility

He and his supporters then staged a protest at the headquarters of INEC to express their actions and has already filed a lawsuit challenging the presidential polls.
