Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has told his opponents to start preparing to accept defeat in the ongoing guvernorship and state House of assembly election.
The governor who casted his vote at Kirchinga polling unit 004 in Madagali local government gave the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) a pat on the back for conducting a smooth electoral exercise.
He however urged the electoral body not to make the mistake they made during the presidential and national assembly elections in order to protect their image and integrity.
The governor urged INEC to transmit the election result via the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IRev) as demanded by all stakeholders.
