Mammoth crowd organize rally for Sen Yaroe to celebrate gov Fintiri’s victory

 

Mayo-Belwa stands still for the arrival of Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe in the sprit of celebration of the victory of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri after the April 15th Supplementary Governorship Election in Adamawa State.

Thousands of PDP supporters, members and loyalists in Mayo-Belwa LGA took to the street in large numbers to welcome the son-of-the-soil Senator Yaroe who arrived his hometown from Yola, the state capital, to thank his people for supporting the re-election of the Fresh-Air Governor.

Welcoming the Distinguished Senator on Wednesday, the people of Mayo-Belwa, who turned out massively to be part and parcel of the Fintiri’s victory, went round every nook and cranny of the LGA headquarters, dancing and singing for the emergence of Governor Fintiri as winner of the 2023 Governorship Election in Adamawa State.

Led by Sen. Yaroe, the people of Mayo-Belwa; mostly women, the young and elderly, took advantage of every opportunity to jubilate over the victory of the Project Master at the polls.

The celebration, which was described as one of its kinds in the history of Mayo-Belwa LGA, was evident to the fact that the victory of Governor Fintiri is the victory for all the people of Adamawa State.

Addressing the large crowd at his residence in Mayo-Belwa, Sen. Yaroe expressed gratitude to his people for believing in the Fintiri-led Administration, hence coming out massively to vote for him to enable him continue the infrastructural development that he embarked upon three-and-half years ago.

According to the Senator, the three Polling Units (PUs) that the supplementary election was held in Mayo-Belwa LGA all voted for Governor Fintiri, even more than the votes he got during the controversial March 18th Election.

Sen. Yaroe assured the people of Mayo-Belwa LGA that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri will fulfill all the promises he made for them during political campaigns in the area prior to the elections, adding that the victory of Governor Fintiri is a good omen to the betterment of the people and development of the state.

Describing what played out by the expelled Adamawa Resident Election Commissioner, Hudu Yunusa Ari as a criminal offence that security agencies should not overlook, Senator Yaore called on all hands to be on deck to ensure the peaceful co-existence being enjoyed in Mayo-Belwa LGA among various religions and tribes be maintained.

Also speaking, NULGE Chairman, Alh. Hammanjamba Gatugel pointed out that the warm reception of Sen. Yaroe by the residents of Mayo-Belwa LGA was a testimony to the fact that Mayo-Belwa is a home of PDP.

He noted that the victory of Governor Fintiri will further pave way for Adamawa State to witness more dividends of democracy for the benefit of all and sundry in the State, calling on the people of Mayo-Belwa to rally round and support the second-tenure of Governor Fintiri’s Administration.
