A statement by the senator’s media consultant, Edward Wabundani noted that, Senator Yaroe drew the attention of his colleagues to buttress his point, by quoting Section 147 subsections (2, 3 &7) of the 1999 Nigerian constitution as amended, explaining that the mere fact that Mr President & Commander in Chief of the Federation failed to submit the names of all his ministerial nominees across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory within 60 days after assumption to office as the C in C, is a constitutional breach, which the senate as lawmakers ought not to overlook.

It could be recalled, that names of ministerial nominees from about eleven out of the 36 states amongst which are Adamawa, Lagos, Kano and Kogi are conspicuously missing from the first 28 names, earlier submitted to the upper chamber by Mr President last Thursday July 27th, for screening as potential cabinet members.
