Adamawa: 32-yr-old rapist in police custody over alleged rape of minor
Adamawa State police command has arrested a 32-year-old resident of Sangere, a suburb of Girei town, Mika Bitrus over alleged rape of a 4-year-old minor.

According to a statement by the public relations officer of the police, SP Sulaiman Nguroje, the suspect was attested during a confidence building patrol by operatives of Girei division.
“The Suspect was arrested following a complain made by Fatsuma Abdullahi a mother to the Victim.
“Investigation so far reveals that the Suspect is a Carpenter and a father of One. He took advantaged of the victim who happened to be his neighbor.
“The Commissioner of Police CP Afolabi Babatola said the suspect will soon have his day in court to face the consequences of his actions,” the statement said.
