Idris Shuaibu who visited the palace on behalf of the NSA to felicitate with him in celebration of Christmas festivity, said, Ribadu was a square peg in a square hole when it comes to security matters.
“The importance of appointing Nuhu Ribadu as NSA cannot be overemphasized. This is as a result of his competence and integrity as a security man. He is also well qualified for the job.
“Ribadu has played his cards right when he was in EFCC. I think he was about the only EFCC chairman that came out clean. We thank almighty that has kept him fit and we are happy that he has sent this delegation to us. It gives us the royal fathers a sense of belonging,” he said.
He noted that with such cooperation and synergy with the traditional institution, he was upbeat that the security challenges bedeviling the nation will be easily tackled by the incumbent administration.
“Security needs top to bottom approach as well as bottom top approach which will make the security matters easier to handle.
