Adamawa CP gives report of 4 weeks stewardship
• Says 58 suspected criminals arrested, Toyota jeep, bus, 2 AK-47 rifles recovered
The new commissioner of police in Adamawa, Morris Dankombo has today given a report card of his four-week stewardship in the state adding that since his coming, the police has given criminals a bloody nose.
During a press conference at the state police headquarters, the CP who stated that he hit the ground running said immediately after his resumption, he organized coordinated onslaught against criminals making life hot and difficult for them.

He noted that so far the effort has started yielding result as no fewer than 58 suspected shilla boys, kidnappers and armed robbers were arrested.
“When I took over the affairs of the command on the 14th February, 2024, I made a promise to to the good people of this state that I will fight crime and criminality to the barest minimum to ensure that the remnants of criminal elements have been flushed out of the state.
“During the period forty shilla boys, 11 kidnappers, and 7 armed robbery suspects were arrested. In all a total of 58 suspects have been arrested.
He announced exhibits recovered to include one Toyota Prado Jeep, one Hummer bus, two AK-47 with twenty five rounds of live ammunition, N10,690, leather containing charms and rings, one power bank and two GSM handsets.
The commissioner thanked governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the good people of Adamawa State for the continued support while pledging to ensure the suspects are duly prosecuted.
