Adamawa police arrest four suspected armed robbers, recover stolen tricycle
Adamawa State police command has busted a criminal gang of four and recovered the tricycle they robbed from its owner, Nuhu Muhammad.
A statement by the image maker of the state police command, SP Sulaiman Nguroje noted that the feat was achieved on April 7th, 2024 after the victim, Nuhu Muhammed, raised alarm along Jimeta-Mubi Bridge after being attacked and robbed of his tricycle.

The suspected robbers include; Abdullahi Yusuf (22), Umar Yahaya (20) Hassan Ishaka (24), Shuaibu Abubakar (19). All the suspects are residents of Kwabura village, Hawal L.G.A, Borno State.
“Investigation so far reveals that the suspects boarded the tricycle indicate that the tricyclist as passengers to a certain location, around Viniklang, Girei Local Government Area. Upon reaching the bridge, they (suspects) applied force on the tricyclist, threatening him with dangerous weapons, pushed him out of the tricycle and went away with it.
“A swift response from the Jimeta Division patrol team led to the arrest of these suspects and the recovery of the tricycle.
“The Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris, Psc (+), assured that the suspects will be charged to court for criminal conspiracy and armed robbery upon the conclusion of the investigation,” the statement said.
