Ribadu bags IRC influential youth of the year award

The organizing secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mustapha Atiku Ribadu has bagged the Integrating Reading Culture (IRC) most influential youth of the year award.

IRC is an organization which seeks to empower young people through transformative education, bridging literacy gaps and inspiring a lifelong love of reading via motivational programs and resources.

Ribadu in an online vote slayed the other contestants including Dr. Abdullahi Ahmed Bappa Garkuwa, Abdullahi Abubakar, Dokachin Bauchi and Emmanuel N Musa to emerge the overall winner of the contest.

According to the polls’ result displayed on the organization’s Facebook wall, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu garnered 51% of the tally with 1386 votes to win the contest.

Emerging as a distant runner up, Emmanuel N Musa garnered 34% with 945 votes while Dr. Abdullahi Ahmed Bappa Garkuwa got 11% with 302 votes to emerge the second runner up just as Abdullahi Abubakar garnered 1 % with 46 votes to emerge in the fourth place just as Dokachin Bauchi got 0 % with 23 votes.
