New districts: Adamawa govt urges interested communities to submit memoranda
Following agitations on the creation of new Districts, the Adamawa State Government is inviting communities interested to submit their memoranda to the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Chieftaincy Affairs Department from Monday, November 11th to November 25th, 2024.
A statement by Humwashi Wonosikou, governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary made available to this medium on Wednesday said the move was informed by the need to improve governance at the grassroot level.

“Communities desirous in new Districts are eligible and free to submit their memoranda.
“Adamawa State Government’s call for memorandum is part of efforts to improve governance and administration at the local level,” the statement said.
